Owners will have questions from time to time about issues that arise and which are outside of the control / purview of the Board of Trustees. Below are some that have come up. This will be updated as new issues arise.
Q - I misplaced the key to my mailbox. What do I do? A - The mailboxes are owned by the United States Post Office (USPS.) Secret Harbor Trustees do not keep copies of mailbox keys for the obvious reasons. If your key is missing, visit the USPS at 3 Mill Street Dennis Port MA 02639. You will need an ID when you go. If the address on your ID does not match the address here, bring a tax bill or other piece of mail that has the 112 address. They will order a new lock and keys for you. You are responsible for the $25.00 charge. It takes about 4 business days to get the new lock installed. When it is installed, you will be notified by the USPS it has been installed and that you can stop by and pick up your new keys. (updated 7/8/22)
